Tim is the CEO and Chief Instructor of Tactical Advantage "Firearms & Self-Defense Training".

He is a Certified Instructor and Training Counselor with the United States Conceal Carry Association (USCCA), Certified Chief Range Safety Officer and a Certified Instructor with the National Rifle Association (NRA).

Tim believes everyone can always learn something new, no matter what their expertise or discipline. That is why continued education and training has been a strong personal interest of his. As a result, he has attended some of the best self-defense and firearms training in the United States, with over 900+ hours of documented training hours under professional and renowned firearms instructors such as the late Louis Awerbuck, the late Pat Rogers, Max Michel, JJ Racaza, Doug Koenig, Travis McCamish, Steve Tarani, Scott Jedlinski, Aaron Cowan, Fabio Spinella and Gunsite Academy cadre; including instructors through the various NRA and USCCA training certifications courses. Red Dot Instructor Cert’s from Modern Samurai Project and Sage Dynamics. Instructor development through the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, United States Concealed Carry Association and specific use of force options courses such as Taser (Taser International), and LEO Defensive Tactics Ground Fighting and Close Quarter Combat Instructor (Protective Training Services, LLC.).

His goal is to teach individuals the mindset, knowledge and skills needed to be successful in securing their personal safety or that of their family; at home or in public.

As a self-defense and firearms training professional, he continuously researches and develops new curriculum and training methods to make the experience for his students the best they can get. Tim believes that although civilian students can obtain great training from various sources, they are missing a key component in their personal safety training, if that training is not reality-based.

Tim has a law enforcement background, a former LEO Defensive Tactics and Taser Instructor.

He currently operates, and is the chief instructor at Lebanon Martial Arts Academy, a 7th degree Black Belt, Chief Instructor for Shorei Goju Ryu Karate-do recognized by the USGA, USKK, USAMA and USKA. Also holds a 4th degree Black Belt in Okinawan Goju ryu - Goeikai.

He is the National Director of Training for Steve Tarani’s “PreFense” Course.
